Wedding in the Pinzonerkeller in South Tyrol

There are moments in a photographer’s life that make the heart beat faster. The request to accompany this unique wedding in the mountains of South Tyrol was just such a moment. When I spoke to the bride and groom for the first time, I knew that something very special was in store for us.

The anticipation for this day was incredible—especially since my husband and I were not only allowed to take wedding photos as a team, but also to make a wedding video. I had been looking forward to the weekend for months. And finally, the day arrived and our expectations were once again completely exceeded.

A special atmosphere

My husband and I arrived at the venue a few hours before the wedding to take the first detailed shots in peace and quiet and to capture images with the drone for the highlight video and wedding reportage later on. Even in these early moments, before the guests arrived or the preparations became visible, it was clear that this wedding venue in South Tyrol was something special and immediately captivated us.

A wedding in the vineyards of South Tyrol

The ceremony began in the Church of St. Stephen in Pinzano, and the sight of the breathtaking bride Aurelia in front of the church portal took everyone’s breath away. The theme of the wedding, the ginkgo tree, was a recurring motif throughout the day, and its symbolism of strength and love was present everywhere.

The first glance when the bride and groom saw each other in the Church of St. Stephen was a moment of intense emotion. Tears of joy and emotion flowed, and the hearts of everyone present seemed to stand still at that moment.

The bride’s entrance into the church

The bride’s entrance, hand in hand with her proud father, was a spine-tingling moment that I will surely never forget. Such moments touch us deeply too—and it’s not uncommon for a tear or two of joy to be shed.

The wedding ceremony, accompanied by a wonderful choir and a sensitive pastor, was marked by incredible warmth. The air was filled with love, devotion, and anticipation of what the day would bring.

Congratulations after the wedding ceremony

As the couple left the church, all the wedding guests formed a guard of honor. With the cheering guests and soap bubbles, wedding photos always become a very special highlight. These pictures literally allow you to relive this unique moment.

Afterwards, the guests gathered in front of the picturesque Pinzonerkeller, where warm congratulations were exchanged. This was accompanied by a fantastic flying buffet and a champagne reception. At the same time, the DJ and a classical violinist provided the musical backdrop.

The gorgeous vineyards around Pinzonerkeller, along with the charming old houses and narrow streets of Pinzano, created a one-of-a-kind backdrop for family portraits and the couple’s wedding photos. We captured portraits in perfect evening light that showcased the area’s natural beauty and charm in a truly special way.

The beautiful weather made it possible to enjoy dinner outdoors at Pinzonerkeller. In the warm evening air, people laughed, toasted, and talked as a relaxed, almost festive mood slowly settled in. You could feel the day moving toward its next highlight. Even then, there was this special anticipation in the air for the first dance, the music, and a long night of celebration.

The ultimate wedding party

The highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, the party in Pinzonerkeller’s vaulted cellar. With DJ Marlon on the DJ decks, the room quickly filled with energy and the dance floor was never empty. The music, the light in the vault, and the unique setting created a vibe that kept building. People danced, laughed, and celebrated without watching the clock. The atmosphere stayed amazing deep into the night, carried by that perfect mix of great music, familiar faces, and the joy of a wedding day that couldn’t have gone better.

Memories that last

To preserve these precious moments, the entire day was also captured as a highlight film. That way, the couple and their guests can relive this unforgettable day in South Tyrol again and again. A wedding in the South Tyrolean mountains is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we feel incredibly honored to have been part of this special day.
