Getting married at Höhenried Castle

Höhenried Castle, with its extensive, beautiful grounds, is not only an absolute dream for bridal couples, but also one of my favorite places as a wedding photographer. It is the perfect location for a stylish, elegant, and at the same time very personal dream wedding. The combination of nature, stylish grounds, castle ambience, and close proximity to Lake Starnberg is simply perfect.

Wow – what a day. Being able to accompany a wedding as a wedding photographer at Höhenried Castle on Lake Starnberg makes my heart beat faster every single time. The conditions for emotional, authentic, and timeless wedding photos couldn’t be better here. The special light, the tranquility of the park, the proximity to the water, and the impressive architecture of the castle create a backdrop that looks like something out of a fairy tale.

Personal connection to Höhenried Castle

For me personally, Höhenried Castle is also a very special place because I have many personal memories associated with it. I spent a lot of time here as a child because my grandmother lived in Höhenried, and our own wedding photos were also taken around the castle. To this day, I feel very connected to this place – which makes it all the more wonderful for me as a wedding photographer to be able to accompany weddings here and capture unique wedding photos.

Getting ready at Höhenried Castle – The start of a special wedding day

For me as a wedding photographer, together with the videographer from my team, this special wedding day for Laura and Max began early in the morning at Höhenried Castle. We were allowed to accompany the couple as they got ready. The atmosphere was already full of excitement and anticipation for such a special day.

Laura’s dream dress, the traditional rooms where many celebrations have been held: all of this made the start of the day simply magical for me as a wedding photographer. It was here that I took the first photos, full of authenticity and emotion, including precious details of jewelry, shoes, dress, and suit.

Emotional church wedding in Tutzing

After these intimate moments, we made our way to the church wedding in Tutzing. The ceremony was incredibly emotional, deeply moving, and full of love. As a wedding photographer, being able to stand in the middle of this moment and capture all the looks, tears, and smiles is something that makes me grateful every time.

Champagne reception & wedding celebration at Höhenried Castle

Back at Höhenried Castle, we were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome. After the congratulations and a lively champagne reception, a relaxed afternoon began with cake cutting, great conversations, and hugs from loved ones.

The atmosphere was exuberant, lighthearted, and full of joy. The afternoon and evening flew by, accompanied by many culinary highlights from Whowantsit Catering, relaxed conversations, laughter, and lots of warmth. For me as a wedding photographer, these are exactly the moments when the most beautiful and honest wedding photos are taken.

Couple shoot in perfect light & emotional highlights

The couple shoot in perfect light was a very special moment. This quiet time just for Laura and Max, in which they were completely at ease, showed so much closeness and emotion. Added to this were moving speeches, loving interludes, and little moments that you can only feel when you are really there.

Fireworks at Lake Starnberg & exuberant wedding party

When fireworks lit up the sky over Lake Starnberg in the evening, there were more goosebump moments. Shortly afterwards, an exuberant party began. What kind of day was this?

I will carry this day and these wonderful people in my heart forever and am infinitely happy to be able to capture these unique memories as a wedding photographer in the form of wedding photos for the two of them.
