The wedding day began relaxed and full of excitement in the beautiful setting of Ammersee Hotel in Herrsching on Lake Ammersee. For me as a wedding photographer, getting ready is one of the most special parts of the day. The unique atmosphere between the bride, her mom, and her bridesmaids, the laughter, the final touches, the look in the mirror, all these little details tell the story of what’s about to begin.

Moments like these, from carefully chosen jewelry (often meaningful heirlooms that moms once wore on their own wedding day) to the final brush strokes of makeup, are priceless. High-quality wedding photos capture even the smallest details and moments, like time capsules of the day, preserving the emotion for decades.

The ceremony was originally planned for the beautiful herb garden at Gut Kerschlach. A truly special place filled with scent, color, and calm, perfect for a personal outdoor ceremony. But sometimes the weather has other plans, so the ceremony was moved indoors.

And Gut Kerschlach has such stunning spaces that the plan B still feels just as special: elegant, full of light, and beautifully styled, and just as unforgettable as being outside. Because it’s not only the location that makes a wedding special. What matters most are the people.

Marie and Sascha’s first look was pure magic. When Marie’s father led her to Sascha, the room went completely quiet. Tears of joy fell, hearts opened, and the couple’s love filled the space. All their favorite people were there, and even the grandmothers got to witness these once-in-a-lifetime moments.
